Featured Cat
Tallulah is a very gentle and sweet one year old who is a tiny bit shy. She is beautiful and healthy. Her foster home has a large dog who is trying very hard to make friends with her and it is working!. Great family pet for a quiet home. All of our cats and kittens are delivered spayed or neutered, with all age appropriate immunizations, free of parasites, tested for FIV and Leukemia and microchipped. The adoption fee is $125.00

Putnam Felines, Inc. is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization working to help stray and feral cats in Putnam County. We believe that the problem of cat over-population will not be solved by adoption alone. Shelters are full and private adoption groups are unable to keep up with the demand for their services. We are practicing Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) because we believe it is the most effective and humane way of controlling feral and stray cat populations and protecting wildlife.
We believe our mission is best served by having all of our cats spayed or neutered and microchipped before they are adopted out. We also believe that all pet cats should be INDOOR ONLY and we turn down prospective adopters who do not agree with us. Microchips establish ownership, altered animals do not contribute to the over-population problem and indoor cats do not harm the environment.
